Play the game Tom!

I was excited when I read earlier that Tom Peters has launched a blog, I'm a big Re-Imagine fan, and at this stage, I'll pretty much eat up anything he has to say. However I was really disappointed when I saw that he didn't offer any space for comments. This is the second time I have been disappointed by his apparent refusal to converse with those that read his stuff. When I got to the bit in his book (the last page, apparently a lot of you didn't get there) that said how he'd love to hear from us, I took him seriously and mailed him...twice, to no avail. Now sure, Seth Godin also doesn't have comments on his blog but I challenge anyone to mail him if you have a question. If you don't get a reply within 12-hours, I'll be shocked. I live a bucket full of timezones from him, yet have never waited more than 5-hours for a reply.

Blogging grows through people sharing their often varied opinions on stuff, if Tom does not want to hear from his readers, either through comments or mail, then he doesn't have a blog, what he has is an e-zine created using a blog engine.

It's not a bad zine though...!
