Birds of a feather...
One of the problems with blogging is that tends to be fairly incestuous. X links to Y who links to Z, who, through the link discovers X, and a loop is born. This is very cool way of connecting with new minds, however what then tends to happen is that we read and link to the same people every day. This is a pity.
I've been invited by johnmoore to join Jon Strande's exciting 100 bloggers project, when I looked at the list of bloggers on board I was very impressed, then I saw that Steve Rubel was missing. I was just about to hit "send" on my invite to him when I stopped myself . Blogging has many angles, yet the project in it's current form would only appeal to one select group of bloggers. Thus I've decided to invite someone else to the project, someone I respect, and someone with, I imagine, a very different perspective on blogging. So Olivia, you up for it?
And for goodness sake, someone please invite Steve, he should be on this...!

Sounds great!
Since Im not one of the 25 - where do I begin? And do I invite someone?
Posted by: olivia | 17 Jan 2005 16:40:16
Yeah, you can invite one person, they close the loop though. Once you've done that, we'll chat to johnmoore our "sponsor" and see where we're going with this. There's more info on Jon Strande's site...!

Damn olivia there is some sick shit over there!
Why did the nudist cross the road?
Posted by: aaron | 27 Jan 2005 23:50:05
Nooo thats horrible. That poor creature probaby died afterwards! :(
He didn't post it, it must have been a commenter on the BBS.
MasaManiA blogs stuff about the unusual things that happen in everyday Japan, that arent advertised in the travel brochures or on the news portals. Its fascinating!
"MasaManiA means Moral Entertainment. Masa means truth in Japanese. Yes, I am mania of truth. I tell you, I show you the real Japan as it is directly. Sometime it make you disgusting. Sometime, it make you angry, but sometime it make you exciting!"
I chose MasaManiA for that reason, and because he is quite unique in that he doesnt do the CC thing like the rest of us - he writes and photographs all his own content. Its a lot of hard work and very entertaining. And is of course great content for other bloggers to CC ;)
