Survival: South African style
Living in Jo'burg can be a lot of fun, it's also pretty scary sometimes. Aquila lives a few km's from my house, pop over here and read how he fought off three armed attackers with just a barstool and some garden furniture, despite being shot and stabbed by the bastards first. There's pictures too.
Oh, and he was naked at the time...!
Update: So it's 01.44 in the morning and the police have just left. An hour ago I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, I checked the zones and it was upstairs in my home cinema. Nothing gone, no-one hurt, but my heart's still pounding. Another quiet night in North Riding.
PS. I was naked too.

Crime sucks dirt. Suddenly there's a wave in our area. And to make matters worse, they tried to break into another friend of mine's house last night. She's left (luckily) with just a broken window and heart palpitations. Where's the A-Team, Knight Rider and Robin Hood when you need them?
