Apple G5 Horror
We were looking for the slot to put CD's into our G5 at the office and after a little while tried the eject key on the keyboard. The flap on the box lifted up, not to display the little slot for the CD like on the G4 laptops, but to our horror - a tray popped out. A tray? WTF? Apple, if you can fit such a wonderful slot inserted CD into a laptop, why not for a big expensive G5?

so you experiencing some of the good old post purchase dissonance factor?
i was kind of expecting the G5's sides to open like a lamborghini (sp?). oh well.

simple, the G5 is a pro tool, so it has to accomodate all kind of CDs, even the small credit card size ones. try putting such a cd into a powerbook.
