Y'think?

Posted by: Rich...! | 17 Feb 2005 21:22:33

They say imitation is the sincerest fom of flattery. Perhaps that's why Hugh likes your defamatory doodle. Hard to tell.

When I've taken him on and said things like the only difference between a Lovemark and a Hughmark is the spelling, he became the most disarming gent you could imagine.

Posted by: David Burn | 18 Feb 2005 00:43:03

In Bournemouth earlier this week I found a hotel restaurant that still expects "men" to own a jacket and tie - and to wear them to dinner!!

fucking bizarre...

If Hugh's evil plan works and all the top tailoring talent "in the world" gathers in his brave new Saville Row - we can just bulldoze the lot of them in one go!

Posted by: David C | 18 Feb 2005 19:39:45

David B: for all my recent criticism I can't but help but imagine that he enjoys being challenged a bit. All that wanky pandering and ass-kissing has to get boring after a while, I think perhaps he's just happy for a change.

David C: Hell the fuck yeah, and if we could plan it that all the old stalwarts of the advertising world were getting fitted that day, so much the better...!

Posted by: Rich...! | 19 Feb 2005 13:04:11

...and the politicians ... and the religious leaders ...and the list goes on...

It could work - anyone who wants to buy a stupid suit from Saville Row - it's tribal marketing's revenge!

Posted by: David C | 19 Feb 2005 20:56:16

Just realised I spelt "Saville" with 2 lls - should be "Savile" - it might confuse the bulldozer driver or cruise missile locking system...

(re name change - I read your Rich...! branding blog from a while ago) I use... a lot in my work can I not be davidcoe... (that's a question - but there's no ? as that would look like it was meant to be part of the branding!! - davidcoe...? - which is a bit too similar to Rich....!)

Posted by: davidcoe... (formerly known as David C) | 21 Feb 2005 21:25:12

Yeah, we definatley wouldn't want to confuse the cruise missiles (especially if they're American).

davidcoe...

Hmmm, has a nice ring to it...!
