Audible improved (just not by them)

The other day, Alexoid convinced me to install Greasemonkey for Firefox. There are loads of user scripts available, but the one that made the effort more than worthwhile for me was Paul Roub's Audible link-fix hack.

If, like me, you use Audible for your audio books (bet the podcasters have given them a scare) and like me, you absolutely hate that Audible force you to browse in one tab/window, this script is for you. Now you can open as many Audible pages as your heart desires, it just amazes me that it took a frustrated user to "hack" this one out, Audible need to start listening.

Oh and the google image re-linker rocks too, no more viewing that wee thumbnail, it's straight to the image for you.

Very bloody nice...!

Update: Episode II: The websites strike back.

Update 2: Paul has updated his audible script details/script

Spell checker that can check text inside any text box in firefox using red underlining, etc. Now if I can just remember to use it...

I don't know if internet explorer allows for plugins like this, but it's the main reason I'll stick to firefox (not that I run windows anyway).

For those using IE, IESpell is the answer to your spell checking conundrum.
