On the iPod wishlist

Nyko

I spotted the Nyko video player in the iPodlounge buyers guide, it'll search your iPod for movie files and will play 'em on its built-in screen/speaker system. It's due out Q4 '05.

Can't wait...!

that's one sexy machine. shit! but alas, i still need to get myself an ipod. how are those new R800 ones - the ones that look like flash memory sticks?

I'd be happy with an iPod as a starting point. iPod Photo comes first on my list mainly because it is the biggest and coolest although the new iPod minis are looking really good with up to 6GB storage. Combine that with the widget that broadcasts to your radio and who needs to carry CDs around anymore? Just a spare battery!

I wouldn't waste my money on an iPod shuffle, to me they're simply impractical. A big part of the reason you get an iPod is for choice. You never know what you want to listen too, great tunes, podcasts, whatever. I opted for a 60gb iPod colour. That way I have everything I need at my fingertips. It also makes a great back-up hard drive, for me this alone makes the extra investment cool.

To triple the usage you get from your iPod, I'd also highly recommend the bose sounddock and dension icelink (fucking awesome).

Couldn't live without 'em all anymore...!
