Buy this disk...

AcadI buy a fair amount of music, averaging about ten or so CD's a month. It's rare though that I find something so good I want to write about it. This is one of those rare cases.

The Academy Is... CD, "Almost here" is just so fucking moreish, I find myself listening to it at least once a day. The track that's permanently stuck in my head at the moment is the phrase that pays, however it's really all good.

So here's my challenge to you. Take a risk. Buy something different this month (.co.za) (.com) (.co.uk). I say you should take my word for it, but if you want, you can hear some mp3's here.

Hold your head high heavy heart...!

Update: While we're talking music, pop over to Dig Business and read about what Coldplay taught Howard about service. Nice.

OK, I've ordered it.

I have my regrets already (I saw the album is by an American band, and I'm not a big fan of American rock).

Kaizer Chiefs any day!

I'm very curious about Kaizer Chiefs, named after a local football club, I read a fairly favourable review on them in last month's rocksound so will probably buy the CD when I'm in UK next month...!
